In 2022, I had the privilege of sharing my photography at State, which was hosted by Hartland College. It connected my philosophy between stories and photographs, by competing in a topic called "Photo Storytelling." It was very eye-opening to see different photos that were taken by numerous people- all of the compositions, the lighting, etc.

How I Started

I can't say there was a real turning point when I got interested in taking photos. In my young childhood, I was surrounded by my father taking video on our old camcorder whenever he got the chance. I think that's where the connection between stories and photographs began. My father let me use any old camera he didn't need, and finally, for my 8th birthday, I got my very own camera.

My Experience

I have had the honor to do photoshoots with a wide variety of subjects. Some of these include cars, plants, pets, events, sports, weddings, maternity, family, couples, and nature.

I feel as though working with all of these subjects have helped grow my creativity, experience, and passion for photography.
